The new and improved BAKFlip MX4 is constructed primarily from alloy materials, including heavy-duty aluminum top panels and side rails. Reinforced with high-density polymer cores, each panel delivers a 22 percent increase in overall strength compared to the original model.

At the rear of the cover, a 13 percent longer dual-action tailgate seal provides weather protection for the tailgate. This innovative design also improves operation, maintaining factory tailgate functionality regardless of the cover’s position.
